Living the lottery

Almost two year ago and friend of mine sent me a link to play the lottery. Not the kind of lottery that gives you cash, but the one that gives you a green card to live in USA. I won. I chose San Francisco. Because I have a wonderful friend, who is helping me to start a new life here, because is by the sea, because the sun shines very often and because it felt good. I’m here now and I would like to share this experience with my friends and all those who wonder what it feels like to start over.

A view behind my back - Twin Peaks

I’ve been staying in a flat in Twin Peaks for almost 3 weeks now and I didn’t know I had the most amazing view of San Francisco literally behind my back. Sometimes we can’t see what’s right in front of us, but maybe sometimes it’s even harder to see what’s right behind us.
