Living the lottery

Almost two year ago and friend of mine sent me a link to play the lottery. Not the kind of lottery that gives you cash, but the one that gives you a green card to live in USA. I won. I chose San Francisco. Because I have a wonderful friend, who is helping me to start a new life here, because is by the sea, because the sun shines very often and because it felt good. I’m here now and I would like to share this experience with my friends and all those who wonder what it feels like to start over.

Ciao Nonna Adina

My Nana passed away today.
It feels hard to be so far from home right now.
Her last words to me were: Do what you’ve always done.
Amazing woman. My heart is with her.
